Welcome to the blog!

Did you used to love art? I remember I loved drawing, creating, writing, doing anything to help me release my inner creativity. I would make comics, storylines, characters. I would try different shading techniques, different art mediums, just had fun with the whole process.

But when I graduated high school and had to look for a real job, I lost that part of me. I had to focus on work. And art wasn’t a job option because it can be lucrative. And eventually, I lost it as my hobby too. But, in recent years and especially last year (2022), I’ve been really trying to regain this skill and my love for art. I’ve been writing down things I want to relearn or learn for the first time.

I have never gone to art school, although when I was younger I really wanted to go. I just have always loved art and wanted to learn and improve my skills again. But because I haven’t had formal training, I created my own personalized curriculum which I will elaborate on in future blogs. If this is something that resonates with you then let’s start our art journey together; whether you’re starting to love art again or are starting for the first time.

The Purpose Of This Blog:

I would like to motivate people to get back into art or to just start. Take a chance. Your artwork won’t be great at the beginning, but you need to start to eventually create something that you will love.

What I want to accomplish with this blog, with my videos on my youtube channel and with my brand is to create a cozy, safe environment, where we can improve our skills together. I want people to feel free to draw/paint along with me and to learn with me. I want to encourage creativity.

I wish I had someone to encourage my creative side when I was younger. It feels like I’m starting from scratch. But, I am glad to be creating art again. As the old saying goes, ‘better late than never.’

You can follow my art journey here with my blogs and on my Youtube channel. Take care and I look forward to hearing from you.
